I (the webmaster) particularly hold a partiality towards Linux, as opposed to Windows, considering that it's an operating system that you can use without getting mad at it after 5 minutes. Particularly, I think Gentoo is the best distro out there; all you computer geeks ought to take a look...
Going along with the "geekiness" of the last entry, this is where I (again, webmaster) get my daily news; I don't think I'd be able to live without it!
Somebody put up this How-To article on how to make your own stedicam (yes, those things that big studios buy for several thousand dollars) for only 14 bucks. Expect use of it in our future films... All you ameteur filmmakers (i.e.: people like us) might want to check this out.
